On Tuesday, 2 December 2008 at 7:30 PM, a Christmas Fund Raising was opened at Del's auditorium. This was the second time a Christmas Fund Raising was held by Del's Christmas Committee since 2007. It was attended by all Del's students, some lecturers and staff. 
The event was aimed at increasing student's care for the real meaning of Christmas in their life by using their talent to help other people. On this occasion, all students were given chances to perform their ability by singing and playing musical instruments. During the performances, audience was invited to come forward and donated some money to the charity box. The fund collected was going to be donated to the poor people near Del's neighborhood.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the occasion and wilingly supported the program by donating some money to the charity box. All students were very enthusiast in this program to make Del's Christmas celebration that would be conducted on January 10, 2009 a celebration worth remembering. Not only students, but also some of Del's lecturers participated by singing a song.
Finally, the Christmas Fund Raising was closed at 09.30 PM. Many beautiful religious songs had been performed by all the talented students. May this event became a very meaningful occasion worth a praise to welcome the celebrtion of the born of Jesus Christ this year. May the charity efforts Del's students had shown would be a bless to everyone. (ririn&rms)
